THE Mordialloc Masonic Hall has been bought by Kingston council for $1.15 million.
The heritage-listed building, at 81 Albert Street, will be restored. Mayor Ron Brownlees said the building would be protected from development and the community would be involved in deciding its future use.
Possible uses include an art gallery, performance space, youth centre or space for the University of the Third Age.
