Makeover plans for Murrumbeena Park

23 Jan, 2012 01:04 PM
THE Murrumbeena Park playspace will be upgraded with new equipment and landscaping over the next few months.

Minister for Sport and Recreation Hugh Delahunty visited the park last week to announce $258,921 of state funding in addition to $776,764 from Glen Eira council. Mr Delahunty said the upgrade would encourage local kids and the wider community to use the space for exercise and relaxation.

The park is also home to the Murrumbeena football and bowls clubs.
