Albert Park Carnivale ready to roll

14 Mar, 2011 03:00 AM
Buzz is growing for the first Albert Park Carnivale, set to transform Bridport Street on March 17. The twilight carnivale will begin at 4pm and run until 9pm. There will be live music, roaming buskers as well as a petting zoo and reptile farm.

Rides including the space shuttle slide, giant UFO, and Thomas the Tank Engine will be brought in especially for the event. The carnivale is the work of the newly formed Albert Park Traders and Community Association, which works to promote Albert Park as Melbourne’s most liveable suburb.
